Not only can you check in while you’re away and your dog or cat is lodging with us, we actively encourage it! There are a host of ways to know what your dog or cat is doing at Pet Camp while you’re away, or frankly even if your dog is here for doggie day care (or is it doggy day care?). Here are a few ways how:
1. Call Us!
Yup, we know it seems old fashioned but really, you can just call us and ask us how your dog or cat is doing. We’ll first check our notes at the front desk. We keep track of all sorts of things, from input and output (eating and pooping) to any play group issues or observations from the bathers, and we’ll pass on the information both when you check in during your stay or when your camper goes home.
Next, we’ll ask to put you on hold for a moment and go check in with the counselors in the back who are providing the hands-on care. You’ll get an up-to-the-minute update, some more information about play group, and data on any specific issues about which you might want information.

2. Text Us!
You can now text us at 415-282-0700, the same number you’ve been using to call us for 21 years. Go to our web site, hit the link and text away. We’ll text you back with as much information as we can fit in the 250 characters we’re allowed. If the message is more detailed will text you back multiple messages.
3. Email
Yes, email still works too. You can email us at having@petcamp.com and we’ll get back to you.
4. Social Media
You can check out your camper and the rest of the fun at Pet Camp on a host of social media platforms. We’re on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. You can catch a glimpse of what’s going on during doggie day care, group play, and of course at Cat Safari. Melina, our K9 Enrichment Coordinator, is always posting videos on Instagram Stories.
5. Camper Cameos
Last, but far from least, there is Camper Cameos on the Pet Camp web page. Every day we post hundreds of pictures of the campers. All you need to do is go to our webpage, select Cat Safari or the Main Campground, the date(s) your camper was at Pet Camp (we keep the pictures up for quite some time, so you can look once your home too) and scroll through the pictures. Find one you really like? Just download it!
We know you want to know how your dog or cat is doing when at day care or overnight care and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get as much information as you want. Call, text, email, social media, camper cameos… ask or visit as often as you want and when you pick up we’ll spend as much time as you want going over your pet’s stay.
