The Algorithm Ate My Blog
Look, I’m just going to say it: I hate SEO.
Why should I write a blog post based on what Google thinks you want to read? I want to write what I want to write — like back in the good old days when blogs were personal, rambling, and full of random thoughts and pictures of a dog dressed like a pirate.
But now? We bow to the mighty algorithm. I can’t just share cute stories about slobbery Labrador Retrievers rolling in the mud — no, I have to squeeze in awkward phrases like “best dog overnight care in San Francisco” and “safe and fun dog day care near me.”
Dear Google, Are You Happy Now?
Did you catch that? That was some quality SEO optimization right there. And let’s be honest… if you’re reading this, it’s probably because Google decided we said just enough about dog day care in San Francisco to show it to you.
So fine, here’s your keyword soup:
At Pet Camp San Francisco, we offer the best dog day care in town. Whether your pup needs a half-day romp, a full day of fun, or a safe and cozy place for overnight dog boarding, we’ve got you covered.
Need dog boarding in San Francisco? Check.
Looking for a safe and fun dog day care facility? Check.
Want your dog to experience structured playgroups, enrichment activities, and lots of outdoor space? Double check.
When All I Really Want to Say Is…
Your dog is going to have an awesome time here.
There will be zoomies.
There will be belly rubs.
There will be tennis balls (so many tennis balls).
There will be snuggles, safe spaces, enrichment games, and if your pup stays for overnight dog care, we’ll make sure they’re tucked in with love.
But apparently, I can’t just say that. I have to say:
“Pet Camp San Francisco is your go-to for dog day care and overnight dog boarding near you.”
SEO Stinks but Your Dog Doesn’t
By the way, we also offer dog baths — because after a long day of camp fun, there’s nothing better than picking up a clean, tired, happy dog (SEO gold right there).
Final Bark
While I hate SEO…
…I love dogs.
So whether you found this post because of Google or because you were just curious what weird thing we’d write next, know this: At Pet Camp San Francisco, we’re all about making your dog’s day awesome — keywords or no keywords.
Thanks for reading.
Pet Camp has been providing San Francisco’s dogs and cats with award winning pet care since before there was SEO or even the internet (ok, maybe not that depending on when you think Al Gore invented it). If you want the best in dog day care, dog overnight care, cat care, bathing/grooming, dog training or pet transportation and don’t really care much about key words and care more about actual authority and trust worthiness instead of EEAT (whatever that really is) give us call. We’ll use real words even if they don’t score well.
