Pet Camp Express DriverJanuary 17, 2018
Love driving? Love Dogs and Cats? Become a driver for Pet Camp!
Pet Camp, San Francisco’s premier dog and cat lodging facility, is looking for a safe, caring, and friendly dog and cat lover to drive our vehicles to bring dogs and cats to and from Pet Camp. As the most award-winning pet care facility in the Bay Area, we are proud to offer our signature pick-up and delivery service, known as the Pet Camp Express, to our overnight and daycare customers! We are looking for a special person who wants to combine their love of and natural affinity for driving and dog and cat handling in a unique job opportunity.
Due to the very specific hours involved with this job (it’s a split shift, Monday-Friday, 6:30 am- 10am, and then back later in the day for 4 pm-8 pm), this position is perfect for someone who is retired/semi-retired, a stay-at-home parent, or maybe even college student who has classes in the middle of the day, but is free early morning and late afternoon/evening.
To even be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
• Have extensive personal or professional experience with dogs and cats. This job requires that you efficiently and confidently leash dogs, lift them into/out of crates, and get them safely to their front doors. You also need to be able to get cats into carriers, both at Pet Camp and at client’s homes as needed.
• Have a valid California driver’s license.
• Have a STERLING driving record! As a driver of a branded Pet Camp vehicle, your driving habits and road manners must be impeccable, as you are the face our company while out on the road, and we take that very seriously. A DMV driving record report will be required of all potential candidates.
• Have exceptional customer service skills. Our clients trust us to get their campers home safely and on-time, and place a lot of faith in our bus drivers to perform that duty. You must be able to display complete competence, compassion, empathy and kindness with every interaction. After all, if someone was driving YOUR pet around town, wouldn’t you want the same from them??
