This is the week for romantic dinners.  Some like to pair a romantic meal with wine. Others prefer spirits or beer. And yes – some even pair their meals with water. 

That’s where a water sommelier comes in. 

No, we’re not making this up. Water sommeliers are very much a thing. They’ve been all over the news – mostly in Los Angeles (of course), but sadly the trend has even made its way to our slightly more grounded San Francisco. Food & Wine recently published “2025’s Best Bottled Waters, According to Water Sommeliers.” Before you ask: some of these waters can run $60–$95 a bottle at a restaurant. For water. Let that sink in. 

Now, we’ll be the first to admit that Pet Camp’s kitchens may not be competing with Michelin-starred restaurants anytime soon – but let’s see those chefs prepare 150 different meals, plate them (or at least bowl them), and deliver each one to the correct customer (dog) in under 90 minutes. 

We say: bring it on! 

Call us cocky if you must, but we’re confident our in-house water sommelier can go paw-to-paw with the best of them.
