Ready to learn a new trick? Or two? Or maybe even TWELVE?
It’s a new year and we’ve got some new tricks up our sleeves! We are thrilled to introduce a brand-new enrichment session launching January 5th, 2026:
Pet Camp’s Trick of the Month
Starting January 5th, 2026, campers attending K9 Enrichment Day and Overnight Care will have the opportunity to work on a new trick each month, guided by Ranger Station counselors. Teaching your dog a new trick is a great way to enrich their life in a fun way!
How Pet Camp’s Trick of the Month Works
- A new trick launches on the 1st of every month
- Training is offered daily as part of our structured K9 Enrichment Program
- Available to campers who opt-in (simply tell our counselors you’d like to participate)
- Campers must have completed Camper Cadet Level 1 (or demonstrate equivalent skills)
The more often your dog attends K9 Enrichment at the Ranger Station, the more opportunities they’ll have to practice with our counselors which means better retention, more confidence, and a whole lot of fun along the way.
Celebrate Every Win
We believe learning should be celebrated!
- Each completed trick earns your camper a commemorative button
- Campers who complete all 12 tricks receive a framed diploma at the end of 2026
Whether your dog masters one trick or the entire curriculum, every success is worth cheering for.
The 2026 Trick of the Month Lineup
Here are the skills your camper can work toward throughout the year:
- January: Shake / Paw
- February: Kiss
- March: Twirl
- April: Crawl
- May: Bow
- June: Wave
- July: Roll Over
- August: High Five
- September: Back / Back Up
- October: Through (Center)
- November: Thanksgiving Food Coma
- December: Unwrapping a Gift
Each trick is thoughtfully chosen to build on previous skills, keeping learning achievable and fun.
