Pet Camp is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the internationally recognized standards and guidelines. This website endeavors to conform to level Double-A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for all people.
For online accessibility to those with disabilities, Pet Camp partnered with Spritz, LLC as accessibility consultants and implementation experts to implement the accessibility standards set forth in the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Level AA. Using the WCAG AA standard brings petcamp.com into further conformance with the Section 508 Web Accessibility Standards developed by the United States Access Board. To verify conformity with the WCAG AA accessibility benchmarks, Pet Camp has recurring website accessibility audits regarding conformance with WCAG AA standards, and periodic reviews with assistive technology such as screen readers and screen magnifiers.
Certain portions of petcamp.com link to third party sites over which Pet Camp has no control. While we work with these third parties to promote accessibility of their sites, we cannot guarantee that they meet the same standards as our own website.
