only one of its kind in San Francisco, our pool was designed
specifically for dogs. A ramp outside the pool, lets
your dog walk up to the water. There's also a ramp inside
the pool so that your dog can enter the water gradually.
Designed and built by West Coast Pools, Europe's premier dog pool company, we
imported it from England.
What's in a Swim? We conduct swim sessions based
on your dog's needs. Some dogs jump right into the pool and swim and play on
their own. For serious athletes and those looking to lose weight, your camper
can exercise against a current. We use floats to keep their bodies in good
alignment and help them swim in a directed fashion.
For older dogs and those needing extra help, a trained counselor dons a wet
suit and gets in the pool to provide physical support so that your dog can
enjoy the water safely
and comfortably.
Swims can last as long as 30 minutes,
but most dogs tire well before then. With regular swimming, your dog’s
endurance will improve. We keep a swim log to report on your dog’s pool
prowess. We offer discounts to
our frequent swimmers and those who swim during an overnight stay.
