We only hire counselors who have a pet of their own. We believe we can teach you about our standards for pet care, but we can't teach you how to love them - or what an awesome responsibility it is to care for other people's babies like they're your own.

Front Desk
Pet Camp, San Francisco’s premier dog and cat boarding facility, is looking for a dynamic animal lover to join our front desk team! You will be answering phones, taking reservations, checking clients in and out, giving tours, selling services to our clients, and answering questions. You will also be cleaning, feeding, and playing with cats.
You will spend some days at our main campground in the Bayview and other days at our cats-only facility, Cat Safari in Presidio Heights. We’re a small company, so you will be required to pitch in where ever we are short-handed.
You will be working when we're busy, which includes weekends and holidays. Shifts are up to 8 hours long, and start as early as 6:45am, and end as late as 7:30 pm. This position is for 24-40 hours per week.
This position requires maturity and good judgment. You should have excellent customer service skills and experience listening closely to clients and their needs. It also requires attention to detail and strong computer skills. You must have either professional or personal experience with dogs and cats.

Pet Care Technician
Pet Camp is looking for counselors to work with our dog and cat campers. You must have personal or professional experience with dogs or cats. Counselors' responsibilities include:
- Run group play sessions,
- Clean runs, and
- Feed and medicate the campers,
- Bathe cats and dogs.
Be prepared for lots of hard work! With a team of people you will be taking up to 160 dogs out to play. Dogs and cats are messy – you’ll be cleaning a lot and doing dishes and laundry. We have every modern convenience to make cleaning easier, but it’s still a lot of work.
You MUST be available to work both weekend days and on holidays because that’s when we are busiest! Most shifts are 8 hours long, some starting as early as 6:30 am, and some ending as late as 7:15 pm. You must be able and willing to work any of those shifts as needed. Also, the summer months are the busiest for us, so you must be available to work the entire summer, with no major vacations planned.
